We believe in everyone's ecological responsibility and offer our guests a recycling center for glass, plastic, paper and cardboard, corks, lids and used cooking oil.

Water is a precious commodity and we must use it responsibly. At Moinho do Marco, we water the garden with a drip irrigation system.

To ensure the comfort of our guests, all windows already have double glazing and are PVC 4-12-6. Avoiding heat loss and ensuring thermal and acoustic insulation.

One way to reduce our environmental impact by reducing organic waste is to produce homemade compost.  That's why in 2021 we installed a compost container in the garden. Let's learn to take care of our planet through small gestures.
